Elon Musk statement on Facebook: X (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk has taken a dig at Facebook and Instagram being down. Actually, on the night of Tuesday (05 March 2024) suddenly Facebook and Instagram stopped working. In view of this technical problem, Musk has targeted Facebook and Instagram. He wrote, “If you are able to read this post, it is because our server is working properly.”
This is not the first case of sudden closure of Facebook. Earlier in the year 2021 also such sudden outage was seen. On October 4, 2021, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp were completely halted for about 4 hours.

The reason behind this technical glitch was said to be a chain reaction of a configuration change within Meta’s internal system. Due to this action, traffic flow between data centers was disrupted.
A statement has also come out from the Communication Director of Meta on this matter. He says that after this problem came to light, we are continuously receiving complaints. Meta said that they are working on the complaints they are continuously receiving from the people.
Meta is the parent company of Facebook and Instagram. The owner of this company is Mark Zuckerberg. It is believed that there has been a cyber attack on Facebook and Instagram. Because of this, users are suddenly facing technical glitches.
