Emergency Landing Of Amit Shah Plane Due To Bad Weather The Plane Landed In Guwahati


Amit Shah Plane Emergency Landing: Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s plane had to make an emergency landing at Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati on Wednesday. Actually, last night Amit Shah was to reach Agartala but due to bad weather, his plane had to land in Guwahati at around 10.45 am.

As per the schedule of Amit Shah, today two Rath Yatras were to be flagged off in the northeastern state. Assembly elections are to be held in Tripura early this year. West Tripura Superintendent of Police (SP) Shankar Debnath said, “Union Home Minister Amit Shah was supposed to land at MBB airport at around 10 pm on Wednesday but the plane could not land due to poor visibility due to dense fog.” SP said . The flight destined for MBB airport has landed in Guwahati and he will stay there for the night.

Agartala was to reach by 11 o’clock

Earlier, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Rajib Bhattacharya said that Shah would reach Agartala on Wednesday to flag off the Rath Yatra from Dharmanagar in North Tripura district and Sabroom subdivision of South Tripura district.

Will show green signal to both the programs – CM

Chief Minister Manik Saha had told reporters earlier in the day that, “Jan Vishwas Yatra will mark the party’s campaign for the next assembly elections and we are happy that the Union Home Minister will flag off both the programmes”.

Shah will first go to Dharmanagar where he will flag off the yatra and address a rally. Saha said that after this he would go to Sabroom where he would inaugurate another Rath Yatra and address a public meeting. He said that Shah will return to Agartala after the Sabroom program and leave for Tripura in the evening.
