In Uttar Pradesh, the Skill Development Mission is organizing a huge job fair in Ambedkarnagar and Ayodhya on 17th and 18th August respectively, in which about 150 reputed companies are going to provide more than 70 thousand employment opportunities. It is also important to note that the job fair will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This job fair is being organized under the aegis of Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, State Industrial Training Institute and Directorate of Training and Employment Scheme and MSME Department. The job fair will be organized from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and in this, along with the students receiving training from Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission and ITI, other general students will also be able to participate.
The skills of the youth will get a platform
Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in the state government, said that various activities are organized to employ the trainees receiving training under the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission after training. In this sequence, these employment fairs are being organized. This mega employment fair is being organized on 18 August at Acharya Narendra Dev Agricultural University, Kumarganj, Ayodhya. More than 100 reputed companies will be available to select youth for more than 50,000 vacancies in this mega employment fair. Among these companies, Accenture, Adani, Bajaj Auto, Chamber of Indian MSME, Flipkart, Honda, Lava International Ltd. Myntra, Nokia, Case Corp, Suzuki Motors, Swiggy and Tata Motors will be prominent.

Big companies will participate
Before this, a huge job fair has been scheduled to be organized on August 17 at Dev Indravati Mahavidyalaya Campus, Katehari, Ambedkar Nagar. In this job fair, 46 reputed companies will be available to select youth for more than 21,000 vacancies. These companies will mainly include Barbaric Nation, Chamber of Indian MSME, Flipkart, Lava International, Oreo Biscuits and Case Corp. This job fair is being jointly organized by Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission and Government ITI Ambedkar Nagar and District Employment and Deputy Commissioner Industry Department Ambedkar Nagar. Interested young men and women can take maximum advantage of this golden opportunity by participating in the district level job fair in maximum numbers and with their biodata and educational documents.
The dreams of the youth came true in 7 and a half years
The Yogi government is motivating the youth to get employment opportunities in private companies along with government jobs. For this, various programs are also being run by the government for their skill development. The government plans to employ a large number of youth in private companies through these employment fairs in 2024. It is the result of the efforts of the Yogi government that in seven and a half years, more than six and a half lakh youth have been successful in getting government jobs, while more than 3.75 lakh youth have been linked to jobs through contract. At the same time, employment has been provided to two crore people under the private sector / MSME.
