Engineer son takes over his father’s throne, will give flight to the business which has been running for 24 years, earns more than salary

Aurangabad:- For the last 24 years, Bhola Ji’s Litti-Chokha shop, located in Sadar block of Aurangabad district, is known for its taste, to eat which long queues form in the morning. Not only the taste of Litti-Chokha made in pure ghee is incomparable, its price is also economical. This is the reason why there is a crowd of customers here.

Chandan Kumar, the operator of this shop, told Local 18 that this shop was opened by his father in the year 1990. At that time the price of this Litti was Rs 2 per plate. From 1990 till now it is made pure and without garlic and onion. Let us tell you that this shop has a crowd of more than 500 customers every day.

Left job and took over shop during Covid
Director Chandan Kumar told that he is a software engineer and used to work in Delhi. Everyone was heartbroken to see that horrific situation during Covid. After that the family members refused to go out. Due to deteriorating health of his father, he left his job and started spending all his time at the shop. This shop is being run by Chandan Singh for the last 4 years, where he has opened Litti-Chokha as well as Biryani House.

Monthly earning of more than Rs 2 lakh
Chandan Singh further told Local 18 that I distribute more salary among the staff than what I used to take. There are more than 10 staff in this shop, while many of the staff are 20 years old. At present the price of Litti-Chokha is Rs 25 per plate. Let us tell you that the shopkeeper earns a profit of about Rs 2 lakh from Litti Chokha shop.
