Israel Lebanon War: Israeli attacks on Lebanon continue. The Israeli army has carried out more than 30 airstrikes in the southern suburbs of Beirut. Lebanese media have described these attacks as the most violent attacks ever. Israel said it had targeted Hezbollah’s weapons depot.
The Israeli army carried out an air strike on a mosque on Sunday (6 October) morning. The IDF claimed that the mosque and school were being used as a command and control center for Hamas. 24 people are being claimed dead in this air strike.
Hezbollah claimed to attack Israeli army
Hezbollah has claimed an attack on Israeli soldiers in Manara. Hezbollah says it launched three attacks with rockets and missiles on Israeli soldiers in Manara, northern Israel, on Sunday. Earlier, Hezbollah had also claimed to have attacked Israeli soldiers who tried to infiltrate into Lebanon through Khalet Shuaib in Blida. Israeli attack continues on Gaza also

Avichai Adrai, the Arabic spokesman for the Israeli army, said in his statement, “Hamas has established a terrorist infrastructure in this area. They are exploiting the people here. Apart from this, they are using the people here as human shields.” “The Israeli army will continue to take forceful action against terrorist organizations. They can move towards Rashid Street and Salah al-Din Street.”
America and Australia evacuated their people from Beirut
America has evacuated 145 people from Beirut. The US State Department said in its statement that it helped evacuate 145 people from Beirut on two flights organized out of the country on Saturday. “To date, we have helped more than 600 US citizens, US lawful permanent residents (LPRs) and their immediate family members leave Lebanon,” the spokesperson said. Apart from this, the Australian Foreign Department said that 407 Australians and their family members have been evacuated from Beirut.
United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres appealed
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called for the unconditional release of all Israeli prisoners held in Gaza on the anniversary of Hamas’ October 7 attacks and appealed for an end to the violence in the region.
