Simranjit Singh/Shahjahanpur: An ancient idol of Lord Krishna has been found during excavation in Nigohi, Shahjahanpur. A girl from Shahjahanpur was dreaming of the idol being buried in the field for the last one year. After which excavation was done at the place mentioned by the girl where the idol of Lord Krishna was found. After the discovery of the idol, worship has started there. Besides, the worship of the dreaming girl has also started like a goddess. At present, crowds of devotees from far and wide are reaching here to see the ancient idol and the goddess-like girl.
The whole matter is of Safora village of Nigohi police station area. Vinod, a resident of Safora, lives with his family in the neighboring district Pilibhit. His daughter Pooja Thakur had been dreaming of installing an idol in the village for the last one year. Pooja is a student of class 8. After repeated dreams, about 3 feet of digging was done at the place indicated by Pooja. During the excavation, an idol of about 1 feet height of Lord Shri Krishna was found. After the news of finding the idol, now everyone is reaching to see the idol.
Family members made fun of him
Pooja Thakur told that Lord Shri Krishna was coming in her dreams for the last one year. After this, God told him that an idol was buried at an ancient place in Safora village. Pooja told that she told this to her family. But his family members used to brush this off as a joke. But when she was having this dream again and again, she reached Safoura with her family. Excavation was done on the edge of a platform at the Mudiya Kheda place on the edge of the village and an idol of Lord Krishna was found here.
Crowd gathered to see the statue
The excavated idol has been taken to the place of Baba Brahmadev at a distance of about one kilometer from there. Worship is being done here. After this, now people from nearby villages and other districts are also coming from far and wide to see the idol and the dreaming girl.
