Hathras CDO Sahitya Prakash Mishra conducted a surprise inspection of the city’s Bagla Joint District Hospital and District Women’s Hospital on May 18. During this time, CMS has sought clarification from Dr. Pushp Lata on finding filth in the hospital premises. At the same time, he expressed his displeasure on finding a guard doing duty without uniform.
The CDO gave instructions to install name plates of doctors in the hospital, to deploy doctors in CT scan, to install UPS system at the prescription counter and to destroy expired medicines. Dr. Anoop, the doctor posted in the SNCU room of the Women’s Hospital, was said to be on casual leave, but no doctor was found on duty in his place. The Chief Medical Superintendent could not give any answer in this regard. The cleanliness of the wards was not found satisfactory. Peak marks were found at many places, slogans like spitting is prohibited anywhere. The bathrooms were found quite dirty.
On this, the CDO has asked to provide clarification through the Chief Medical Officer. Instructed to issue notice to the concerned company if the guard is not in uniform. Instructions were given to prepare log book of generator operation. During inspection, surgeon Dr. Sunita Tripathi was found continuously absent since May 10. Clinical psychologist Lalit Kumar, wardboy Kripashankar, Pawan Kumar, sweeper Mahesh Kumar were found absent.

DPM Balveer Verma was absent at the time of inspection in Hathras CMO office. The Chief Medical Officer said that the hall designated for the office of the District Management Unit, which is on the second floor of the office, is filled with goods purchased from the NHM scheme about 10 years ago.
