In the pilgrimage city of Mathura, around 250 followers including those from Sonkh town had reached the satsang of Bhole Baba in Phulrai village of Sikandrarao area. Where a big accident happened due to stampede at the end of the satsang. Those who have returned safely are thanking God.

There are a large number of followers of Bhole Baba in the rural areas including the Sonkh area. Even though no program of his has been held here for about two years, Satsang programs celebrating Shukr (merging with those who survived the accident) have been held across the district. People used to come to these programs not only from Hathras but also from far-flung districts and other states.

People’s faith in Baba used to take him to programs held in far off places. The village of Phoolrai in Sikandrarao area is not very far from the district. In such a situation, a large number of people had gone from here on Tuesday in three buses. But seeing the havoc created by death there, everyone’s heart was shaken.

Somehow they saved their lives and now even when they tell about the accident, fear is visible in their eyes. They say that the accident was very big, it is God’s grace that they survived. Regarding this, village head Dr. Devendra Singh told that thousands of people including women are connected to Saakar Vishwa Hari alias Bhole Baba.

About 250 followers of Baba had gone to Hathras Satsang in three buses. However, three women died in the accident. This has created a sad atmosphere in the area. However, the followers’ faith in Bhole Baba remains intact.

About 15 people from the village had gone to attend a satsang. Three neighbouring women were injured and one died. During the stampede, we moved to one side and saved our lives.Ashok Kumar, Follower

The arrangements were good during the satsang, but after the end the crowd became uncontrollable, which even the sevadars could not control. I was behind the place where the stampede took place. -Chandrapal Singh, follower
