iPhone 15 Sale: Republic Day sale was recently organized on Flipkart and Amazon, the two most popular shopping apps used in India. Many users in India have purchased iPhone during this sale, because Apple had given huge discounts on many of its iPhone models during this sale.
One of those models is also named iPhone 15. This iPhone model also got a big discount offer in the Flipkart sale, and hence many users bought this phone, but one user has claimed that a fake battery has been given in his iPhone 15, due to which the new Even after purchasing the iPhone, you are not able to use it.
iPhone 15 battery turned out to be fake
This customer named Ajay Rajawat made a post on When I switched it on, I got a notification that it had fake battery.
I have ordered iPhone15 on Flipkart in republic day sale and today I got it.but it is not charging and it is showing that the battery is not genuine …what could be the solution for this……is this a fraud by @flipkart

This user has shared two posts on social media. The first post was made on January 15, to which the Flipkart support team replied and requested to tell about their problem in a private message, but as the problem could not be resolved, they posted for the second time on January 18, in which the iPhone 15 battery repair was done. Written notification is visible, and there is also a video. In the second post, users accused Flipkart of refusing to replace the damaged iPhone 15. He wrote that,
“Users wrote in their post, “I ordered iPhone 15 from Flipkart on January 13 and I received it on January 15, but Flipkart has cheated me. They gave me a damaged iPhone and the packaging in the box is also fake, and now they are not replacing it. My order id is OD330202240897143100.”

What did Flipkart say?
Flipkart support team again responded to the user’s second post and wrote, “Thank you for raising your concern. We take customer satisfaction seriously and assure you that we have contacted you (@1234AjaySmart) Via Call. Please do not respond to fake social media handles impersonating our brand to keep your conversations safe.”
There has been no response from Apple yet on this matter. However, the incident of receiving a defective product or receiving a wrong product and refusing to exchange it while shopping from the platforms of both Flipkart and Amazon is not new. This has happened many times in the past with many users on different products.
