In Agra, Uttar Pradesh, the elder brother who had come to take the B.Ed entrance exam in place of his younger brother was caught by the police with the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence). The police interrogated him when the biometric fingerprints did not match. After this, the fake candidate revealed the truth to the police.
Ranjit Chaudhary, a resident of Bihar, had come to the Agra College centre to take the B.Ed entrance exam in place of his younger brother Amit Chaudhary. The exam was from 2 to 5 pm in the second shift. At the time of entry to the centre, biometric face detection, eye scanning and fingerprint matching were being done with the help of AI.
Ranjit’s fingerprints did not match. Considering him a suspect, Loha Mandi police interrogated him. He told the police that he is a fourth class employee in the railways. He had come to take the exam to get his younger brother Amit admitted to B.Ed. Incharge Inspector Loha Mandi KP Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused.
2487 candidates were absent from the exam
Bundelkhand University, Jhansi conducted B.Ed entrance exam 2024. On Sunday, 2487 candidates were absent in the examination in two shifts at 15 centers including Agra College. 1246 candidates skipped the entrance exam in the first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and 1241 in the second shift.
