The idol made by Arun Yogiraj, who is an expert in making idols from any photo, is being claimed to be selected for the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya. Even though this matter is being discussed all over the world, the sculptor’s wife Vijeta came to know about it through the media. When ABP News contacted Vijeta, he said that Yogiraj has been in Ayodhya for a long time. We have no idea what is happening there.
Yogiraj’s phone remains switched off
Sculptor Arun Yogiraj’s wife Vijeta told that her husband’s phone now remains switched off. He himself talks to us to inquire about our well being. We cannot talk to him even if we want to, we don’t know what condition he is in Ayodhya. Yogiraj’s wife told that there is no ban on him making any kind of statement in Karnataka, but her husband is not talking much. He has been instructed not to discuss this issue.
What work does Arun do?
While talking to ABP Live, Arun Yogiraj’s wife told that Arun, who has studied MBA, has an ancestral job of making idols. This work has been going on in his family for five generations. After doing MBA, Arun also did a job, but he was not interested there and returned back. His wife told that Arun has made many sculptures. Idols are made daily for the temple here. Only Arun starts the making of any idol and gives the final touch to it, other people also help him in this.

Vijeta told that he has been working on the idols being made for the Ram temple for the last six months. He has been in Ayodhya since June 2023 and is working on the statue there. Earlier we were talking intermittently. Right now the phone is switched off. Sometimes they call for five minutes to inquire about our well-being.
Right now we are in confusion
The winner also told that she got the information about her husband making an idol for the Ram temple only from the media. Media people are coming to our house to congratulate us and do interviews. We have not received any confirmation yet, we are still in confusion. People are coming and congratulating, the house is full of people.
