Farhan Akhtar’s concert canceled after Akshay Kumar, what was the reason?


Farhan Akhtar canceled the program to be held in Australia. His band ‘Farhan Live’ was scheduled to perform in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia later this week. He announced the cancellation of the program by posting a post on social media on Tuesday. The ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ director said in a statement on social media that he and the other band members were saddened by the cancellation of the concert.

Not only as a director and actor, Farhan Akhtar is equally proficient as a singer. Apart from playing the role of a rock star in ‘Rock On’, ‘Rock On 2’, the actor also sang songs for that character. Not only this, Farhan’s voice has also been heard in the song ‘Atrangi Yaari’ from the film ‘Wazir’ along with a brilliant star like Amitabh Bachchan. 

Concert was to be held in Australia

He also regularly performs concerts with his band ‘Farhan Live’. From college fests to various musical events, ‘Farhan Live’ is quite popular as a band. The band was to tour Australia in the first week of March. Trip was cancelled. Farhan wrote in a statement on social media, "Due to unforeseen circumstances, our band ‘Farhan Live’ was forced to cancel the Australia tour. We cannot come and perform in Sydney and Melbourne this weekend. We are disappointed with ourselves."

Recently ‘Farhan Live’ gave his performance in a musical event in Pune. The audience and fans were greatly impressed by Farhan’s performance there. On the other hand, Farhan has started preparing for his next film ‘Jee Le Zara’ with Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. He is not in the role of an actor but a director in the film.
