The father threw his daughter into the canal

In Mandhiyai village of Sardhana police station area of Meerut, the father threw his two and a half year old innocent daughter Ikra into the Ganga canal on Friday night. On getting information about the incident, the police took the accused into custody and interrogated him on Saturday. The accused confessed to throwing his daughter into the Ganga canal.
The accused has said that he threw the innocent girl in Ganganahar because he beat his five year old son Uvaish. But the reason given by the accused is not acceptable to anyone. Because two innocent daughters of the accused had died in suspicious circumstances two years ago.
Sullu alias Suleman, son of Ibrahim, a resident of village Mandhiyai, works as a labourer. His family consists of his wife Mahrunishaan and son Uvaish (5). Apart from them, the couple had three daughters, Ilmaa, Ikra (two and a half years old) and Alina. Two years ago, when Ilmaa was four years old and Alina was three months old, both of them died under suspicious circumstances.
Now on Friday night, Sullu was seen going towards Ganganahar with his third daughter Ikra. After some time, he returned alone. When the villagers asked him about his daughter, he did not tell anything. Then someone informed the police that a person had thrown an innocent child in Ganganahar.
