Film Review ‘Out Of Death’: Film directing is a very easy process everyone thinks. The writer will write, the set designer will make the sets, the actors will remember the dialogues and they must know how to act, the cameraman will keep the camera at the right place and shoot. The music wala will give the music and the action director for the action, the choreographer for the dance. Actually, the director’s job is the most difficult. It is not absolutely necessary to watch this film released on Amazon Prime, because it is possible that you may refrain from watching films of any budding director.

This is the first film written by Bill Lawrence and hence the story is incomplete. In a town far away from the city, the police dominate. The police chief has to become a sheriff, so he does drug trade and other illegal work with his police station team. A girl from his team shoots a drug dealer and at that time a girl who was trekking in the jungle captures the incident with her camera. The police team starts searching for this girl in the forest. On the other hand, after the death of his wife, a senior police officer from the city comes to spend time with his niece and reluctantly gets involved in all this. Then as it happens, the bad end and the good are victorious.

The writer of the film has not applied his mind at all. Both the heroine and the hero of the film have come to the jungle for the first time, but with the ease with which they move around in the jungle, it seems that they know every nook and corner of this jungle. On the other hand, where the police should have information about the jungle, they are unable to find the heroine in the jungle. The police chief doesn’t know anything about the jungle. Why the hero i.e. Bruce Willis is in this film, only God, writer and director can tell. All his shots have been taken in a single day. The director of the film also appears on the screen in the role of a police officer.

There are many mistakes in this hastily shot film. The drug dealer’s truck is hidden inside the forest, but after a while the truck is seen parked on the side of the road. There is no fear of losing anyone in the forest. Every person enters and comes out of the forest very easily, while mobile phones do not work in many places. The Chief of Police is in his own tune and he thinks that he will fix every bad thing, but it is only in the dialogue, nothing is visible from his face.

A policeman dies after being shot but the heroine of the film gets first knife and then bullet wounds, bleeds but she still keeps on fighting, keeps on running and funny thing, she gets well in a week or two After that she goes for trekking. Nothing special can be seen in Peter Holland’s cinematography. Neither in the action sequences nor in the scenes of the jungle, he has tried to bring any newness or grandeur whereas all this is expected in jungle films. RJ Cooper, who edits documentaries and short films, has edited the film. If you are not able to engage with the film while watching the film, then the speed of the film does not matter to you even because of editing.

Bruce Willis is known for the best action films of the Die Hard series and he is working to drive away his fans by doing films like Out of Death. Everyone else’s acting is ordinary because it is clearly visible that the director has taken care of taking work from them. Most of the aspects of the film are weak and due to having a weak story, the film becomes very boring. You prefer to be out of screen than watch this movie.
