Cyber Fraud Through Mobile Number: Nowadays cyber fraud is increasing continuously. You do not even know and a big scam happens with you. There is also a scam in which cyber criminals misuse your number and cheat people. TRAI and the Department of Telecommunications have set a limit of 9 numbers, in which legal action can be taken if there are more numbers.
It is very important for you to know how many numbers are registered in your name, so that you do not get into any legal trouble. If an unknown number is registered in your name, it can be used for illegal activities. There are two ways to find out the number of mobile numbers registered in your name. Let us tell you.

To get information related to your mobile number or SIM, you can use the Sanchar Saathi portal tafcop.sancharsaathi.gov.in. Here you have to tap on Citizen Centric Services and then click on Know Your Mobile Connection. You can check about mobile connection here.
Here you have to enter your mobile number and type the captcha. For this, an OTP will come on your mobile number and you have to enter that OTP. When you share the OTP, all the details will appear on the screen. Here you will know how many SIM cards have been issued in your name.
File a complaint immediately
If you come to know that someone is using a SIM card in your name, you can report that number and also lodge a complaint. After this, the government will investigate the numbers which are running in your name and about which you have complained. If the number is issued fraudulently, the government will block that number.
