Incident of Sonia Vihar area, police registered a case and started searching for the accused tenant

New Delhi. A fire broke out in an illegal firecracker warehouse in Chauhan Patti village of Sonia Vihar area on Monday morning. As soon as the incident was reported, five fire engines along with the local police reached the spot and controlled the fire. The charred body of a person was found in the warehouse, who could not be identified. Javed, who had rented the warehouse, is absconding since the incident. The police have registered a case and are searching for the accused.
The police officer said that at 4 am on Monday, the police got information about a fire in a warehouse located at Chauhan Patti. Fire officials said that illegal firecrackers were kept in the warehouse. As soon as the fire broke out, the firecrackers started exploding and the firecrackers fell far and wide. The fire brigade personnel controlled the fire in about an hour with the help of five vehicles. The police officer said that the deceased could not be identified. Investigation revealed that the warehouse belonged to Krishna, a resident of Sabhapur village. During interrogation, it was found that he had given the warehouse on rent to Javed, a resident of Wazirabad. The police raided Javed’s house, but he is absconding from there. The police officer says that the deceased will be identified only after Javed’s arrest. It is suspected that the deceased used to work in the warehouse.
