A fire broke out in a utensil manufacturing factory in Wazirpur Industrial Area area of ​​North-West Delhi on Thursday afternoon. Due to the fire, five people including the factory owner present on the second floor were trapped. When the police and fire department got information about the accident, the rescue team was immediately sent to the spot. The fire broke out in the first floor office. Fire Department Director Atul Garg said that his team received information at around 12.40 pm that a fire had broken out in the pottery factory in Shed-80, Wazirpur Industrial Area and some people were trapped here. As soon as the news was received, eight fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. Apart from the ground floor, two floors were built above the factory of about 160 yards.

A warehouse was also built by putting a tin shed on the roof. Steel and aluminum utensils were made on the ground floor. Apart from the office, cardboard boxes and finished goods were kept on the first floor. On Thursday afternoon, apart from factory owner Dhruv Goyal (55), four other workers were also on the second floor. When the fire broke out, he got trapped on the second floor. The fire filled the entire building with smoke.

All five people tried to save their lives by reaching the mesh at the back of the second floor, but the fire reached the second floor. A team of fire personnel started controlling the fire. While the other team started rescuing the trapped people. It was extremely difficult to escape from the only living space in the building. The fire department team reached the nearby factory. From there the roof of the building that was on fire was reached. Descending down, breaking a wall on the second floor, we reached the trapped people. Later everyone was evacuated safely.
