While talking to Local 18, shopkeeper Sonu Kumar, who runs a shop named Srichand Breakfast near Chandrawar Bridge in Firozabad, said that the breakfast here is quite famous. His shop is twenty-five years old and his breakfast is prepared with pure mustard oil. For morning breakfast, pulses are soaked overnight. Then in the morning, after grinding it, dal kachori is prepared. Along with this, flour bedi, jalebi and potato curry, raita are also prepared. The shopkeeper says that people start gathering at his place from morning itself to have breakfast.
People come from far away to have breakfast
The shopkeeper said that when he started the breakfast shop, the price of Kachori was two rupees, then as time passed and gradually the prices also increased. Today the price of dal kachori is ten rupees and people line up from morning to have breakfast. People not only from Firozabad but from Shikohabad, Tundla, Agra come to his shop to have breakfast. There is a huge crowd of people from morning till evening.
