The first photo uploaded to the Internet was of a band group known as Les Horribles Cernettes, formed by some CERN employees. This photo was uploaded by Berners-Lee on the internet in which there were 4 women. Berners-Lee is the same person who discovered the World Wide Web in 1989. While working at CERN, he wrote the code for WWW through the Next computer. Then its purpose was to make the knowledge reach each other.
Les Horribles Cernettes was an all women band group that sang pop, doo-wop, comedy, folk songs etc. This band was active till 2012, which is now closed.
