Due to bad weather and fog in Varanasi, two planes could not land at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport on Wednesday morning. Both the planes were diverted to other cities. At the same time, some planes arrived late at Varanasi airport.

Due to which Akasa Air’s Bangalore to Varanasi flight could not land at Varanasi airport and the plane was diverted to Bhubaneswar. Indigo Airlines flight reached Varanasi from Mumbai. The plane could not land on the runway of Varanasi Airport due to low visibility. After circling in the air for about half an hour, the plane was diverted to Delhi Airport. Officials said that due to bad weather and low visibility due to fog, the planes have been delayed and diverted. After the weather becomes normal, the planes will reach Varanasi airport again.

- Indigo’s 6E6543 to Delhi.
- 6E915 diverted to Kolkata.
Planes had to be diverted due to visibility being less than 800 meters at Varanasi airport.
