Black gram – one cup
Cumin- 1/4 teaspoon
Asafoetida – a pinch
Salt- as per taste
Ghee- 1 spoon
Red chilli powder – half teaspoon
Dry mango powder- half teaspoon
Coriander powder- half teaspoon
Cumin powder- half teaspoon

How to make spicy black gram
First of all, soak gram in water overnight. When you want to make it in the evening, add a little salt to water and boil it. Now add one spoon ghee in a pan. Add whole cumin seeds, asafoetida and cook for a few seconds. Now take out the boiled gram from water and put it in the pan. Adding ghee adds flavor. Now cut green chillies and add it.
