In the country 1 July From 2024 The IPC, which has been in existence for more than 150 years, has been abolished and three new laws have been implemented . However, there are some grey areas in this which are constantly being questioned. One of these is that there should be no provision for unnatural sex. For example, if a person forcibly makes unnatural relations with another person, then no action can be taken against him.
Rape of men and transgenders is not illegal?
In our country, in the recent past, many cases of forced unnatural sex have come to light. In which there was no concrete provision for action against the accused. However, the Indian Judicial Code, made according to the new times, The Indian Security Code and the Indian Evidence Act were expected to enact some law in favour of the victimized men and transgenders. However, now questions are being raised on these three new laws as well. Actually BNS in ‘unnatural sex‘ Titled Section of IPC 377 has been completely removed. So now there is no law for the victims of rape of a man by another man or rape of a transgender.
Victims have no option?
Parliamentary Deputy–The committee had suggested that if a man has unnatural sex with another man without consent or a husband forcibly has unnatural sex with his wife, then 377 It is necessary to have such a provision so that it can be implemented .
