IND vs AUS 1st Test, Virat Kohli’s Drop Catch: The Indian team dominated the first day of the first Test match being played between India and Australia in Nagpur. Kohli dropped both catches while fielding at slip. First he gave life to Steve Smith in the 16th over. Smith wanted to drive on the first ball of the over, but the ball went to Virat Kohli standing on the spill, taking a heavy edge of the bat. He spread his hand to catch this catch, but he failed to take the catch.
After this, Kohli dropped the catch of Handscomb in the second session. A ball from Jadeja hit the edge of Handscomb’s bat and went into the hands of wicketkeeper KS Bharat. The ball took a turn after hitting the gloves of KS Bharat and went towards Virat Kohli standing at slip. Kohli could not succeed in reaching the ball. In this way Kohli dropped two catches.
