PM Modi On Sushil Modi Passes Away: Former Deputy CM of Bihar and veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushil Kumar Modi passed away on Monday (May 13). He was 72 years old. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed condolences on his demise.

Sushil Modi’s last rites will be performed tomorrow
Sushil Kumar Modi had revealed in April this year that he is suffering from cancer and due to his ill health, he will not contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The mortal remains of the former Rajya Sabha MP will be brought to his residence in Rajendra Nagar area of Patna tomorrow, Tuesday (May 14) and the last rites will be performed during the day.
Cancer disease was disclosed on social media
He had said in a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), “I have been battling cancer for the last six months. I think now is the time to make it public. I Lok Sabha Elections I will not be able to do my work during. I have shared it with the PM. My gratitude to the country, Bihar and my party.”
