Abdul Razzaq on Jasprit Bumrah and Shaneen Afridi: Whenever fast bowlers are talked about in the current cricket world, the names of Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah and Pakistani bowler Shaheen Afridi are taken. Both the players are doing well for their respective teams. Former Pakistani player Abdul Razzaq has given a controversial statement regarding both the players. Comparing both the players on a local Pakistani news channel, Razzaq said, “Shaheen Afridi is very good. Bumrah doesn’t even come close to that.
At present, both the players are running out of their respective teams due to injury. Bumrah is in the National Cricket Academy due to his back injury. At the same time, Shaheen Afridi is trying to make a comeback from his knee injury. Both the players had missed the Asia Cup played in 2022 due to their injury. After this, Jasprit Bumrah could not even play T20 World Cup 2022 due to injury. While Bumrah was first included in the World Cup squad, he was later dropped.
International career of both has been like this till now
Jasprit Bumrah made his international debut in 2016. Since then, he has played a total of 162 international matches. In these matches, he has taken a total of 319 wickets at an average of 22.48. This includes 30 Test matches, 72 ODIs and 60 T20 International matches.
Whereas Shaheen Afridi made his international debut in 2018. Since Laker has played a total of 104 international matches, in which he has taken a total of 219 wickets at an average of 23.92. In this, he has played 25 Tests, 32 ODIs and 47 T20 Internationals.

It is noteworthy that earlier in 2019, in an interview with Cricket Pakistan, he had called Bumrah a ‘baby bowler’ while replying to playing against Jasprit Bumrah.
