In the increasing heat, passersby can get pure drinking water in public places and crowded places. For this, more than 3000 Jal Seva Kendras will be run in various cities under Jal Jeevan Mission. These Jal Seva Kendras will work like a big drinking water stall, where passersby, devotees and common people will get cold and clean drinking water in summer. Especially these centers will be set up near the city’s hospitals, railway stations, bus stands, markets, temples and religious places. This arrangement has started in the entire state. This service of providing cold drinking water to everyone will be completely free. This entire expense will be borne by NGOs, companies and agencies associated with Jal Jeevan Mission. After the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Principal Secretary of Namami Gange Department Anurag Srivastava has instructed the officials to start Jal Seva Kendras in all the cities.
Ayodhya will have the highest number of water service centers
Cities like Ayodhya, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Lucknow have a large number of devotees and passersby. More than 51 Jal Seva Kendras will be built there. Jal Seva Kendras will be set up every two kilometres on all the roads leading to Ram Mandir and major religious places in Ayodhya. So that the devotees do not face any kind of problem in the summer. Similar arrangements will be made in Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj and Lucknow. Apart from this, 40 Jal Seva Kendras will be started in small districts.
