There is good news for the farmers of Uttar Pradesh. The state government has taken a big decision in the interest of the farmers. According to the decision, free electricity will be provided to the farmers of the state. The government has extended the date for getting free electricity for 15 days. Now farmers can register for free electricity till July 15. However, the Consumer Council had demanded to extend the registration date by two months for farmers with private tube wells.

The Uttar Pradesh government is providing free electricity to private tube well farmers. To avail the benefits of this scheme, farmers will have to register. So far only 90 thousand farmers have registered. The last date for registration was 30 June, but now it has been extended for 15 days. This will enable 12.10 lakh farmers to avail the benefits of this scheme.

The Uttar Pradesh government has extended the last date for registration of the left out farmers under the free electricity scheme till July 15. Farmers can take advantage of the scheme by taking advantage of this opportunity. The Energy Minister has urged all the farmers to get registered in time.
