Ingredients for Fried Potato Chaat
Potatoes – 5-6
Curd – 2 cups
Mint-green chili chutney – 1 tbsp
Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Tamarind Chutney – 1 tbsp
Green coriander – 2 tbsp
Rock salt – as per taste
Oil – for frying
Fried Potato Chaat Recipe
If you want to make fried potato chaat full of taste, then first peel off the potatoes. After that cut them into squares. Now take water in a vessel and heat it on medium flame. Put some salt in the water as well. When the water becomes hot, put chopped potatoes in it and boil it a little. Keep in mind that potatoes should not melt while boiling.
When the potatoes are lightly boiled, turn off the gas and take them out of the pot and put them in a strainer and pour cold water on top. Now take a nonstick pan and put some oil in it and keep it on medium flame for heating. When the oil becomes hot, add potatoes and fry them. Keep in mind that we do not have to deep fry the potatoes. When the color of the potatoes turns golden, turn off the gas.

Now take out the fried potatoes in a plate. Add curd, green chutney and tamarind chutney to it. After this, sprinkle red chili powder, chaat masala and roasted cumin. Fried Aloo Chaat is ready to serve. You can also garnish it with green coriander leaves.
