In Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, a youth from Preet Vihar Chandrapuri Colony of Highway Police Station area was made to sit in a car by some youths and then beaten up. Its video went viral on social media on Saturday. The incident is said to have taken place on July 4. Police is investigating on the basis of the viral video.
The case is of Manoj Upadhyay, son of Jamuna Prasad Sharma, resident of Preeti Bihar Chandrapuri Colony of Thana Highway. Jamuna Prasad Sharma alleges that four-five people living in a neighboring locality came to his house in a car on July 4. They called his son for a talk. During this time, they took him away in the car. After that, they forcibly made his son drink alcohol and beat him up. Somehow, the younger son came to know about this incident.
Video of display of hooliganism goes viral
The video went viral on Saturday, in which it is seen that some youths are beating Manoj in a moving car. He is being held in the backseat. Blood is also coming out of his mouth. The youths are also taking the name of a politician. During this, a youth tells the youth driving the car to go to Lohavan. Someone sitting in the car is making a video of this entire incident on his mobile. He himself has made this video of hooliganism viral.
The matter of beating in anger came to the fore
Highway Inspector Umesh Chand Tripathi said that on the complaint of Ravi Upadhyay, a case has been registered against Vivek alias Gulla resident of Narayanpuri Dhauli Pyaau, Ravi Thakur resident of Bhagwati Nagar, Rohit resident of Bhagwati Nagar, Bunty Thakur resident of Bhagwat Nagar, Monu Thakur resident of Bhagwati Nagar, Lucky resident of Moti Kunj. Investigation has revealed that Manoj alias Sonu Pandit was good friends with all of them.
All of them used to party together. Recently, after a party, Manoj had beaten Rohit’s father over some issue. After this, their friendship broke. Later, all of them got together again. To take revenge for the beating of his father, Rohit along with all the others committed this crime. The accused are being searched for. It was found out late in the evening that Manoj alias Sonu is at his maternal grandmother’s house.
