Agniveer soldiers
Let us tell you that now youth are being recruited in the army under the Agneepath scheme. According to the information, Agniveers are given a salary of Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 per month. Apart from this, there is also a Seva Nidhi non-contributory package in this scheme. Under which Agniveers contribute 30 percent of their monthly emoluments and the government also contributes the same amount. On completion of four years, they will get around Rs 11.71 lakh from the package and this amount is also not taxable. In case of death of Agniveers on duty, an amount of more than 1 crore is given including Seva Nidhi package and full salary for that period. In case of disability, he can get up to Rs 44 lakh based on the extent of disability caused or increased due to military service.
Regular Jawan Martyr
Regular Jawans will be given pension equal to the last salary. An amount of Rs 25 lakh will be given in case of death due to accidents on duty. Apart from this, an amount of Rs 25 lakh will be given in case of death of a Jawan in attacks by terrorists and anti-social elements. An amount of Rs 35 lakh will be given in case of death of a Jawan in border clashes, pirates or any other operation. Rs 35 lakh will be given in case of death of Jawans doing duty at high altitude and due to natural disasters. In case of enemy action in war, which is notified by the Ministry of Defense, in such a situation, an amount of 45 lakhs will be given on the death of the soldier. Apart from this, many types of concessions and assistance are also given to the family from various welfare funds of the army.
Agniveer Vayu
According to the information, Agniveer Vayu will not get the status of ex-servicemen. Not only this, whatever facilities are given to regular ex-servicemen, those facilities will not be available to the soldiers of Agniveer Vayu. At the same time, after working for 4 years, Agniveer soldiers will not get any kind of pension and gratuity. Apart from this, Agniveers will also not be given health facilities. They will also not get the benefit of Canteen Stores Department. However, in case of death, the family of the soldier will be given insurance amount from Agniveer Corpus Fund. Let us tell you that in case of natural death, the family of Agniveer soldiers will not get anything. In case of death of any soldier, he will get 48 lakh insurance amount. In case of death during service, an additional ex-gratia amount of Rs 44 lakh will be given.
