In this auction that lasted for 3 days, more than 100 items from Game of Thrones were auctioned for approximately Rs 1 billion. If we talk about Iron Throne alone, it was auctioned for Rs 12 crores. As soon as the Iron Throne came up for auction, people started bidding on it. In this bidding which lasted for 6 minutes, the highest bid was Rs 12 crores and it was auctioned.
More than 4500 people had come to bid
According to the report of NBC New York, more than 4500 people participated in this auction. These 4500 people spent approximately one billion rupees for the items sold in the auction. Apart from the Iron Throne, John Snow’s famous sword Longclaw was sold in this auction for Rs 3 crore. If you have seen this web series, then you must have told that the head of the Night Watch had given this sword to Jon Snow which is made of Valyrian steel. The red velvet dress worn by Cersei, a villain character of this web series, was auctioned for Rs 1 crore. This was the dress Circe wore when she died.
