Ganesh Chaturthi 2024 Ganpati was really born from dirt of Maa Parvati body Know the secret

Ganesh Chaturthi 2024: It is mentioned in mythology that Lord Ganesha was born from the dirt of Goddess Parvati. But is this true? Did Lord Ganesha really originate from dirt? For this, it is necessary to read the scriptures which say something else.

According to Mahabhagvat Uppuran Chapter number 35:–

Etsminnantare Gauri Gaatram Liptva Haridraya. Bathing-going Udyukta Babhuva Munipungav ॥5॥
Tada hi sabhiraksharth mandirsya maheshwari. Vintayamaas Vishweshaampi Rakshakarini ॥6॥

Meaning- Bhagwati Gauri got ready to go for a bath after applying turmeric paste on her body. At that time, Maa Jagdamba, who also protects the entire universe, started thinking about protecting her abode. Meanwhile, remembering the previous prayer of Lord Vishnu, she took some portion of the turmeric paste applied on her body and created a son (Ganesh).

There is a story attached to the previous prayer where Lord Vishnu asks for the boon of having a son from the Goddess. This is described in the previous chapter:–

Tathāhamapi chaitsyaḥ putratam prapya vai dhruvam. अंकमारुह्य प्रशनामी स्त्न्यं पर्मभावताह ॥11॥
And Vichintya Lord Vishnu: Parampurushah. Adhyayan Chetasa Devi Pranipatya Yayou Yada ॥12॥
Tada Tasya Abhilasham Tu Vijhay Parameshwari. Tasmai Dadau Varam Vishno Matputrastvam Bhavishyasi ॥13॥ (Mahabhagavata Upa-Purana Chapter 34.11–13)

Meaning – A thought came in the mind of the Supreme God Vishnu (Vishnu Ji) that I too should become the son of this Bhagwati and play in her lap (seeing Kartikeya in her lap). Thinking so, he meditated on the Goddess in his mind and bowed down to her and when he left from there, knowing his desire, Goddess Jagadamba blessed him that Vishnu! You will become my son.

Lord Vishnu himself appeared in the form of Ganpati and then Gauri Mata meditated on Lord Vishnu who in the form of Dhanvantari was the founder of Ayurveda (Yagna 67.15-19).

According to Swami Anjani Nandan Das, by applying Ayurvedic turmeric paste, Lord Vishnu, who is the originator of Ayurveda in the form of Dhanvantari, was remembered so that he accepts her as a mother. By applying turmeric, Mother Parvati wanted to encourage Ayurveda, because turmeric has been given a very important place in Ayurveda. God is beyond turmeric and vagina, but she performed this leela to encourage Ayurvedic treatment.
