Ganesh Visarjan 2024: Bappa was established across the country on Ganesh Chaturthi on 7 September. The ten-day Ganesh festival begins from this day. Method of Ganesh Visarjan (Ganesh Visarjan Vidhi)
- On the day of Ganesh Visarjan, offer Bappa his favorite things like Durva, Modak, Laddu, Sindoor, Kumkum, Akshat, Paan, Betel Nut, Clove, Cardamom, Turmeric, Coconut, Flowers, Perfume, Fruit etc. Chant the mantra Om Shri Vighnarajaya Namah during the puja.
- Perform Aarti and Havan at the place where you have installed Ganpati at home or in the pandal. Now sprinkle Gangajal on a wooden board. Make a Swastika on it and spread a red cloth on it.
- Place the Ganpati idol and all the material offered to him on the platform and then go for immersion while dancing, singing and throwing gulal with the accompaniment of drums and drums. Before immersion in the river or pond, perform Ganesh ji’s aarti again with camphor. Apologize for the mistake done knowingly or unknowingly. Wish him to come next year.
