Gangster Sundar Bhati gang once dominated the black business of scrap metal in the district. But with the help of politicians, police and white collars, the interference of Ravi Kana’s gang increased in this illegal business. Despite the implementation of Police Commissionerate, instead of taking action against the gang, they got police protection. But now it is being considered as the biggest action of Gautam Buddha Nagar Commissionerate.
Along with preparing to declare reward on the absconding accused, they are preparing to confiscate property worth crores with the help of bulldozers. During the tenure of Samajwadi Party, not only the illegal business of gangster Ravi Kana was increasing but the political stature of his brother, former head of Dadupur Harendra Nagar was also increasing.
Harendra Nagar was murdered on February 8, 2015 because of his interference in the black business dominated by the Sunder Bhati gang and his growing political stature. After this, he continuously tried to increase his political stature and black business with the connivance of white collar people. It was through Ravi’s illegal earnings that many white-collared people rose to fame.
Due to fighting the case against Sundar Bhati, Ravi Nagar and his family were provided government security on a large scale. Despite the implementation of Police Commissionerate in Gautam Buddha Nagar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s instructions to take strict action against the mafia, the police did not reach the gang of Ravi Nagar. Whereas cases continued to be registered against the gang in various police stations. Gangster action was also not taken against the gang.
