Is there any age limit to appear for GATE 2025?
There is no age limit to appear for GATE 2025.
Is there any restriction on the number of appearances in GATE?
Candidates can appear for GATE exam in any number of times.
Can one e-mail address be used to fill multiple application forms?
No, one e-mail address can be used to fill only one application form.
Why three test cities have to be selected?
According to the official website, candidates are generally allotted a center in the examination city of their first choice. But many candidates choose some cities as their first choice. Because of which it becomes difficult to provide a center to everyone in the city. Therefore two more options are also necessary.
Will the fee be refunded if the application is withdrawn?
No, the application fee will not be refunded.
What to do if there is a spelling mistake in the name or wrong paper is selected during the application process?
Candidates will not be able to make changes immediately after the completion of the application process. However, they will be allowed to make improvements within a certain period of time as per the prescribed procedure at a later stage.
How many papers can I apply for?
Candidates can apply for one or two papers out of the 30 papers (two in combination as per the paper combination) mentioned in the Information Booklet or on the official website of GATE 2025.

If a paper is being conducted in more than one session, can I appear in any of the sessions for that particular paper?
Every candidate will be allotted to appear in only one session of that particular paper, even if it is multiple sessions.
Can I change my exam paper, exam city, or category after submitting the application form?
After the last date of application submission, requests for change of examination paper, city, or category will be accepted with extra charges when the correction window is opened. After that no request will be considered.
Applications will be submitted till 7th October
Whichever candidate wants to apply for this examination. They should submit their applications by 7th October. Is organizing. IT Roorkee will close the application window for GATE 2025 with late fees on Monday, October 7 i.e. today. All students can apply on the official website of GATE gate2025.iitr.ac.in till 11:59 pm today. Let us tell you that the date for submitting applications in the normal manner was 3rd October. Now candidates can apply by paying late fees.
Exams will be conducted in 8 zones
