Two former MPs from Bihar’s Gaya district have protested against the BJP district president at Gaya airport. Actually, former MPs Hari Manjhi and Ramji Manjhi had reached to meet PM Narendra Modi on his arrival. But security passes were not issued to them as their names were not included in the list by the BJP district president. After this, the MPs accused the BJP district president that this was done because they belonged to a backward caste.

Both the MPs asked that if former MLA and MLA are following protocol then why is former MP not following protocol. The MPs alleged that security passes are made by BJP District President by taking money from some people. Meanwhile, in this regard, BJP District President Prem Prakash alias Chintu called this allegation baseless. He said that those who are making allegations should have presented their views in BJP office and committee.

At the same time, former MP Hari Manjhi said that our pass to meet the PM has not been issued. That is why we are outside. The name has to be given to the district president and on the basis of that name, as per protocol, we are sent to meet the PM. The names of both of us former MPs have not been sent. That is why our passes have not been made. He alleged that this work is done deliberately by the district president. The district president gets the pass issued by sending the name of the person from whom he takes money and makes the pass by taking money. We will complain about this to PM Modi and also in the state.

On the other hand, BJP district president Prem Prakash alias Chintu said that the former MP has been respected by us and is also a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. We will not get into the controversy of what he has said. The house I come from and the class I come from, we have never been taught that we have to work by taking money. And as far as the allegation made by the former MP about meeting people during the PM’s arrival is concerned, I want to ask him whether the people who met the PM are BJP leaders and workers or not. If they are not BJP leaders and workers, then I have made their passes by taking money. These are the MPs who have worked in the past by taking money from people, that is why they feel that we have done this by taking money.
