Mistake found during scrutiny in nomination papers of seven candidates

22 candidates had filed nomination papers for Gaya Lok Sabha seat in Bihar. During the scrutiny of nomination papers on Saturday, mistakes were found in the nomination papers of seven candidates including the Kisan Sangharsh Samiti candidate. For this reason, nomination papers of seven candidates have been cancelled. The District Election Officer cum District Magistrate gave the above information.
The District Election Officer said that the nomination papers were scrutinized today by Election Officer cum District Officer Dr. Thyagarajan SM in the presence of General Observer Yashwant V. Gurkar (IAS) in the Collectorate Auditorium. During this period, nomination papers of a total of seven candidates have been canceled due to mistakes in their nomination papers. Information related to the mistake in the nomination form was given to the candidates in advance and they were given time till 11:00 am today to resolve the mistake. But the documents related to rectification of the mistake were not provided by these seven candidates.
It is noteworthy that on the occasion of Lok Sabha General Elections 2024, a total of 22 nomination papers were filed in Gaya Parliamentary Constituency (ST).
These candidates were nominated
(1) Kamlesh Kumar Paswan, father Bhushan Paswan, village Punawa Wazirganj. His party affiliation is from Jagran Janata Party.
(2) Mahendra Manjhi, father Kali Manjhi, village Naudiha Fatehpur. His party affiliation is from Mool Niwas Samaj Party.
(3) Santosh Kumar, father Raghunath Chaudhary, Mohalla Shahmeer Takiya Durga place. His party affiliation is from Aam Janata Party Rashtriya.
(4) Dipu Kumar Choudhary, father Dinanath Choudhary, village Keni Khijarsarai. His party affiliation is Kisan Sangharsh Samiti.
(5) Sudeshwar Paswan, father Raudi Paswan, village Jamheta Fatehpur Gaya. His party affiliation is with Numerical Partnership Party.
(6) Yogendra Kumar, father Kanhai Ravidas, address Kujapi Chandauti. His party affiliation is with the Right to Recall Party.
(7) Chandan Kumar, done by father Bhagwan Das. His party affiliation is Independent. These villages belong to Bailon Wazirganj.
