A bogie of a goods train laden with coal caught fire at Wazirganj Paimar station of Gaya-Koderma railway section in Gaya, Bihar. Where the fire was brought under control in time with the help of two fire engines. After that the goods train was sent ahead.
Smoke started rising from goods train at Paimar station
According to the information, the goods train carrying coal from Dhanbad in Jharkhand state was going to Thermal Power Barh Barauni. On Wednesday morning, smoke was seen rising from the goods train at Paimar station. During this time, a goods train laden with coal was put in the loop line of Paimar station. After this, when the railway personnel checked the goods train, it was seen that smoke was coming out from one of the bogies.
The fire was brought under control after hours of effort
However, the concerned railway officer was informed in time. After this the fire vehicle was called from the fire department. On information, personnel from the fire department reached Paimar station with two big fire engines. After this, after hours of hard work the fire was brought under control. However, there was no damage caused by the fire. Also, due to the goods train being in the loop line, there was no impact on the operation of passenger trains. All passenger trains continued to operate on time. However, the railway administration has expressed the possibility that the coal may have caught fire due to its heating.
