In the report submitted against him to the state government, the Lokayukta organization has recommended an investigation by an expert agency and recovery of money to compensate for the financial loss suffered by the state government.

Let us tell you that the social worker of the capital, Dr. Nutan Thakur had complained to the Lokayukta organization against former Mining Minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati and former Principal Secretary Mining Gurdeep Singh.

According to the complaint, Gayatri Prajapati and Gurdeep Singh, disregarding the rules, gave a prospecting license for the main mineral China Clay in Sonbhadra and survey permit for minerals like potash in Chitrakoot to a business group from Udaipur (Rajasthan). Besides, the condition of purchasing the exploration report worth Rs 3 crore prepared by the Mining Department was also waived in collusion with these companies. Apart from this, license and permit fees were also not taken from the company. Deputy Lokayukta VK Singh has found both of them guilty in the investigation of this case.

He has sent a report to the state government and recommended taking legal action against Gayatri Prasad Prajapati and Gurdeep Singh. They have also been asked to get their properties investigated and compensate the loss caused to the state government and inform the Lokayukta organization within three months.
