Kiln businessman Yogendra Sharma (24), who was kidnapped on May 1 from Sikrod Road of Nandgram police station in Ghaziabad, was murdered after being kidnapped. The body was buried in a pit near RapidX yard in Siwaya, Daurala. On Saturday, Nandgram police recovered the body on the spot of the murderer.
Devendra Sharma, resident of village Sikrod of Nandgram police station, is a kiln trader. His only son Yogendra alias Golu looked after the business with him. He had set up an office under the name DK Traders. On the evening of May 1, he left the office after closing but did not reach home.
Despite a lot of searching, when no trace of Yogendra was found, the family lodged a missing complaint at Nandgram police station. The police searched the call details but did not get any success. Yogendra’s uncle Pramod Kumar Hitaishi, posted as Section Officer in Delhi Municipal Corporation, told that Yogendra had given the garage on rent to Vikas, a resident of Ajrada in Hapur district.
Vikas used to service bikes here. He had also kept his car in Ola company. When Yogendra did not return home, when the family took information from Vikas, he started misleading the family by creating a story.
