Gmail Accounts That Are Associated With YouTube Videos Will Remain Safe

Google Accounts: Google had recently announced that the company will delete all those Gmail accounts which have not been active for the last 2 years. That is, if a person has not logged in his Google account in the last two years, then the company will delete it and all the content related to this account will be deleted from Gmail, Docs, Drive, Meet, Calendar and Google Photos. After this announcement, the question was arising in the minds of the people that what will happen to those accounts from which YouTube videos have been uploaded? Now the company itself has commented on this.

Google told in a blogpost that the company will not delete the Gmail accounts from which YouTube videos have been deleted. That is, the account from which the YouTube video is posted will remain on Google. Let me tell you, Google is only deleting personal accounts. If you have an account related to business or educational institution, then it will not be deleted. Google told that abandoned accounts are less secure than active accounts because 2FA people have not set them. Because of this, hackers can easily target them. Google will start deleting all in-active accounts from December 2023.
