Google I/O 2023 In, Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) took the lead. The company kept talking only on AI for more than an hour. The event was started by Sundar Pichai, he told what is the company’s thinking to make generative AI accessible to more people. Google told in the event that Bard has been made better and safer. Google said that Bard will be offered in 180 countries and will support 40 languages including Japanese and Korean. Along with this, Google announced that generative AI is coming to Gmail, Search, Photos and Maps.

Google Bard will also show visuals to users with a user-friendly interface. You can share a photo with AI and ask it to write a caption. Also, you can ask the AI to search for places to visit in an area, and the AI will display the results with Google Search and images with Knowledge Graph. Google says that the Bard will get a dark mode, a feature developers sought to “make interacting with the Bard much easier on your eyes”.
Gmail’s ‘Help Me Write’
Google already lets users compose smart emails on Gmail with autocomplete. But, now with the power of AI and Google paML2 technology, users can create emails in seconds. Google has introduced “Help me write” feature. At Google I/O 2023, Google showed off a new pencil icon on Gmail. Users can write their email with this icon. On clicking the pencil icon, users can type, “Write mail for full refund” and a smart-reply will be generated.
