CPI(ML)’s ‘Badlo Bihar Nyay Yatra’ towards building a just new Bihar started from Kateya in Gopalganj on Wednesday. Before the start of this yatra, a public meeting was organized in which hundreds of pedestrians and local residents participated.

Importance of Jan Samvad Sabha

Addressing the gathering, Jiradei MLA Amarjeet Kushwaha made a scathing attack on NDA’s Nitish government. He said that atrocities on Dalits, Muslims and the poor are increasing under the rule of the government and the marginalized people are not getting justice. Recalling the promises made by Nitish Kumar during the seventeen months of the Grand Alliance government, he said that the announcements made by the government in the interest of the poor have now been forgotten. Kushwaha also said that the government formed with the support of Male had announced to provide financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to 95 lakh families whose income is less than Rs 72,000 on the basis of economic calculations, but now that promise has also been forgotten.

MLA Secretary Inderjit Chaurasia said that after the Jan Samvad Sabha, the Badlo Bihar Nyaya Yatra started from Kateya Bazaar. This yatra is being led by Satyadev Ram, National President of All India Farm and Rural Mazdoor Sabha and Darauli MLA. Farmers, labourers, women, students and youth are included in the yatra. A publicity vehicle is also accompanying the Yatra team, which is giving information about the objectives of the Yatra through loudspeaker and raising enthusiastic slogans.

According to the information, this yatra will last for eight days, which will reach Chapra on October 23 via Bhore, Mairwan, Darauli, Ekma and Siwan. The Yatra will be concluded through a justice conference organized at Miller High School grounds in Patna on 27th October. Leaders participating in the yatra included Jiradei MLA Amarjit Kushwaha, Chhapra Gopalganj Male District Secretary Inderjit Chaurasia, Siwan District Secretary Hansnath Ram, women leader Sohil Gupta and other prominent workers.
