In Gopalganj district, in Bankata Jagirdari village of Bhore police station area, on Sunday night at 10 o’clock, a teenage girl got electrocuted due to current in a motor pump. The family members brought the girl to Bhore referral hospital for immediate treatment. Where the doctors declared the girl dead after first aid. The deceased girl has been identified as Laxmina Kumari, 16-year-old daughter of Rajesh Sah, a resident of Bankata Jagirdari village of Bhore police station area of the district.
The deceased’s father Rajesh Sah said that Laxmina had gone to the hand pump to wash her feet before going to sleep late on Sunday night. The hand pump was also connected to a motor pump. As soon as the girl held the handle of the hand pump, electric current was flowing in the hand pump. Meanwhile, Laxmina got hit by the electric current and fell unconscious there. As soon as we got the information about this, we immediately brought her to Bhore Referral Hospital for treatment. Where the doctors declared the girl dead after first aid. As soon as the family got the news of the girl’s death, they started crying loudly. The family is in a bad state due to the death of the girl.
On receiving information about the incident, Bhore police station chief Anil Kumar reached the spot with the police force and took detailed information about the incident from the family members. Also, the police took the body into custody and sent it to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
