Subsidy on Farm Machinery: The Rajasthan government has taken a new initiative to make the lives of farmers easier. The state government has decided to give up to 50% subsidy on agricultural equipment to farmers under the Sub Mission on Agricultural Mechanization Scheme. This scheme will make it easier for farmers to do tasks like sowing, plowing and sowing and will also increase their income.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that under this scheme, about 66 thousand farmers will be given a grant of Rs 200 crore. Farmers can apply online till 13 September. Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Small, Marginal and Women Farmers: These farmers will be given a grant of up to 50% of the cost based on the BHP of the tractor. Other category farmers: These farmers will be given a grant of up to 40% of the cost.
On which agricultural equipment will subsidy be available?
Farmers will be given subsidy on all types of agricultural equipment popular in the state like rotavator, thresher, cultivator, bund farmer, reaper, seed cum fertilizer drill, disc harrow, plough etc.
How to apply?
Farmers can apply online on Raj Kisan Saathi Portal through e-Mitra with the help of documents like Janadhaar Card, copy of Jamabandi, quotation of agricultural equipment etc.
These are the important things
- A farmer will be given subsidy on one type of agricultural equipment only once in a period of three years.
- Farmers will be given subsidy on only one agricultural equipment in a financial year.
- Subsidy will not be given on old agricultural equipment purchased before the issuance of administrative approval.
- Only one application will be accepted through one Jan Aadhaar.
- To avail subsidy on agricultural equipment, the land must be in the name of the farmer and to avail subsidy on tractor-driven equipment, the tractor must be registered in the name of the applicant farmer.
