Cultivation of millet: Governments are constantly trying to promote coarse grains, such as millet and sorghum, in the country. As an important step in this direction, the Rajasthan Agriculture Department has distributed free seed minikits to farmers during the financial year 2024-25. Under this initiative, 7 lakh 90 thousand millet and 89 thousand sorghum seed minikits have been provided to the farmers in the state. This will not only increase the cultivation of coarse grains.
