A target of 10 hectares has been set in Mau district of Uttar Pradesh. In this, farmers will be selected on first come, first serve basis. The grant amount to the farmers will reach their bank accounts directly.

Farmers are cultivating Parwal in many districts of the state. This cultivation is included in pumpkin class vegetable crops. It is cultivated perennially. Parwal is a very digestible, nutritious, healthy and full of medicinal properties vegetable.

According to the experts of the Horticulture Department, Parwal is also rich in vitamins, carbohydrates and proteins. Parwal is an important vegetable if seen from export point of view. If producers cultivate Parwal using scientific techniques, then good yield can be obtained from its crop.

Farmers can apply online on the website of the Agriculture Department on any working day. After this a heart copy of the online application will be taken out. Along with that copy, farmers can submit it to the office along with a copy of Khatauni, two photographs, photo copy of Aadhar card, photo copy of passbook. After selection under the scheme, plants and fertilizers will be provided to the farmers. All this will be given in cash. The grant amount will reach the farmer’s bank account.
