Governments plan to stop stubble burning this bank will give loan on subsidy

Stubble management remains a big problem for farmers. The government, agricultural scientists and aware farmers are working to deal with this problem, but a permanent solution to this problem is not being found. Whereas now the cooperative banks of the state are also coming forward for the disposal of stubble. So that farmers can get relief in stubble residue management, cooperative banks have started a loan scheme for crop residue management.

80 percent discount will be available

Under this scheme, farmers are being given the benefit of subsidy of up to 80 percent on the purchase of agricultural equipment. Along with this, progressive farmers can avail discount on purchase of agricultural equipment for crop residue management including baler and super seeder. Whatever farmers or agricultural institutions take loan under this, they will also be given five years time to repay the loan. It can be repaid every year in 10 half-yearly installments between 30 June and 31 January.

On the other hand, according to a report by The Tribune, the State Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan The aim is to provide easy loans to farmers in rural areas to purchase machinery for crop residue management. So that environmental pollution caused by burning of paddy straw can be stopped. According to the report, this scheme has been started through 802 branches of State Cooperative Bank and District Cooperative Banks in Chandigarh. The Chief Minister said that farmers can avail the benefits of this scheme through easy process.
