He sells it under the name Devbhog sweets. Their sweets are made from Manduve, Desi Ghee and Jaggery, which does not cause any harm to health. They make Manduve laddus, Manduve barfi, Manduve namkeen, Manduve biscuits, Amaranth laddus, Amaranth barfi etc.
Talking to Local 18, Govind Singh Mehar said that he has been working on Uttarakhandi Millets since 2002. He also did the work of making Prasad for temples across the state including Char Dham. This initiative of his was also appreciated by Trivendra Singh Rawat after becoming the Chief Minister. He is now making sweets from Pahari Manduve and Amaranth. These sweets are beneficial for health and have excellent taste. Also told that he has also run the Bhog Prasad scheme of Uttarakhand government, which was operated from Badrinath Dham. Apart from this, he first got the Bhog cluster in Uttarakhand from the Government of India.
Pahari sweets are more nutritious than other sweets
Govind Mehar told that Pahari Manduve and Amaranth sweets are more nutritious than other sweets in the market. He is not saying this himself but his product has been tested by many labs. This has been confirmed in the investigation. Manduva provides many health benefits to your body. At the same time, desi ghee is also considered rich in all the nutrients. Apart from this, mountain jaggery maintains its sweetness. At the same time, Amaranth also has no bad effects on the body.
