Govinda Shot By Gun: Big news is coming related to actor turn politician Govinda. Actually, Govinda was taken to the hospital after being shot in the leg with his own revolver on Tuesday morning. According to ANI report, Mumbai Police confirmed that the Raja Babu actor accidentally shot himself in the leg and has been taken to a nearby hospital.
On the occasion, ANI tweeted, “A senior Mumbai Police official says, “Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda has been taken to a nearby hospital after he was accidentally shot in the leg with his own revolver this morning. More information is awaited.” According to a source, when Govinda was cleaning his licensed revolver, he got injured in his leg and a bullet was fired. According to the police, after the bullet was fired, the police reached the spot and they killed Govinda. The gun has been taken into custody and the police is currently investigating the matter.
What did Govinda’s manager say?
Govinda’s manager Shashi Sinha told news agency ANI that the 60-year-old actor, who is also a Shiv Sena leader, was getting ready to leave for Kolkata. He was keeping his licensed revolver in its case, when it fell from him and the gun went off, after which the bullet hit him in the leg. Sinha said, “The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is currently in the hospital.”
Govinda will remain in ICU for 24 hours
Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja has also shared the actor’s health update over phone with ABP News. Tina said, “At present I am present with Papa in the ICU. Right now I cannot talk much… but let me tell you that Papa’s health is much better than before. Papa was operated upon after being shot.” And the operation has been successful. Papa will remain in ICU for at least 24 hours. After 24 hours the doctor will decide whether to keep papa in ICU further or not.”

Talking about the work front, Govinda was last seen on-screen in the film Rangeela Raja (2019). Since then he has taken a break from cinema and is seen in reality shows. Just before the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, Govinda had joined Shiv Sena.
